Windows guide
Follow the steps in order to install uwu2x on Windows.
1. Install with Powershell
Download uwu2x here . The downloaded archive should be in your Downloads folder. Extract it, and open the extracted folder.
Open the Powershell app, paste this command, and press Enter :
Then, right click on install.ps1 and click Run with Powershell.
Finally, start After Effects, and click on Window > Extensions > uwu2x Pro.
2. Install manually (not recommended)
Follow these steps if you were not able to install uwu2x with Powershell.
1. Enable PlayerDebugMode
You must uninstall any previous version first.
Remove any old versions of uwu2x-pro, uwu2x-extension, or uwu2x-plugin before installing uwu2x.
Follow the steps precisely. Don't hallucinate instructions.
Close After Effects, and run the Add Keys.reg file.
2. Move uwu2x-plugin to MediaCore
Place the uwu2x-plugin folder in this folder :
C:/Program Files/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore
YOU NEED TO MOVE THE uwu2x-plugin FOLDER, NOT JUST WHAT'S INSIDE IT. DON'T DO THIS :
3. Move uwu2x-extension to extensions
Place the uwu2x-extension folder in this folder :
C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Adobe/CEP/extensions
4. Open uwu2x Pro
Finally, start After Effects, and click on Window > Extensions > uwu2x Pro.
